Someone else reported a similar experience over on the MS Forums- no plug and play install, followed by a sequence where there was a reboot with the WN still in its USB slot, then finding it installed and ready.
Also please try to disable antivirus or firewall when installing the adapter.
Went into the folder manually opened it. It flashes blue and continues to do so as long as it is plugged in and an “Unknown Device” shows up in the “Other Wnn111v2 list in device manager.

I did this on the bit machine a few minutes ago, and I believe the same situation exists on our hit workstation. If we open it and look for a driver online it says there is no driver for the device.
